Family and Friends

We have set this blog up as a means of communication for family and friends of Christie. This will allow us to continue to take care of her needs and communicate with everyone minute by minute of where she is at in her prognosis, progress, and answer any questions you might have on a daily basis. Feel free to post comments, questions, prayers and any messages that you have for Christie. She will be delighted to see them.

Please know that as much as we would love to talk to each one of you individually, that is precious time that we need to spend helping her recover. We are truly appreciative of all the support and prayers. We will notify you when she will be able to have visitors.

Thank you for your understanding,

The Torbett Family-

Christie, so happy and relieved to hear your surgery went well! Now mind your doctors and your kids and do what they tell you so you can get well. We SOCites are praising the Lord for guiding your doctors' hands and praying that He keeps his arms around you extra tight. Get well quick, girl! Susan Piland Sunde

Christie, I am so happy to know that your surgery went well. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and I know that you will be as good as new in no time at all! I look forward to seeing you in June so you'd better follow the doctors orders! You have a very special and caring family to have set up this blog spot for us.

Love and hugs,

Christie,

This is my third attempt to post a message to you so hopefully this one will go through. I missed your call last Sunday and I felt it was too late to call after I got your message. If you were lucky enough to get some sleep in the hospital, I didn't want to wake you. You are in my thoughts constantly and I am sending positive thoughts your way so hold on to them. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you and your family.

Much love,

Mary Knight

Oh, Christie. The Pub was not the same today without you! You are in my thoughts and prayers, but I know you are in good hands with your family surrounding you. I hope you have a relaxing weekend and can't wait until one of your kids tells me it's ok to come visit! You need to ask the doctor if you can have cheese fries! :) We love and miss you!
Always, Maggie
