Mom is scheduled for surgery this morning to remove the drain from the prior surgery, and implant a more permanent one. This should speed her release from ICU and hopefully by the end of the week, she will be moved to the Baylor Rehabilitation Institute. Surgery should begin around 10am, and I will update periodically as to her progress today.

Good morning, Lady, I hope you are feeling better. It is so nice to hear the lipstick story in the last blog....I still can't put on lipstick without looking in a mirror. If this surgery causes you to lose any weight, I am going to be mad...you don't need to lose any, but I do. Continue to listen to your doctors and your family....they all know what is best for you. I Love You,
Ada Ann Henrie Wingate
Christie, so good to hear you are continuing to do better and, hopefully after today's surgery, you will be able to get over to the Rehab building and out of the ICU. Much love to you and your family.

Christie,
I sure miss you. I'm praying for you daily. I want you to know how much I love you,
