After a short operation, Mom is recovering in ICU. She is awake, talking and joking. We hope to move to a regular room very soon. ICU waiting area is not optimal for sleeping or any normal activity for that matter....we look forward to being a little more private and able to do a lot more visiting with Mom. Keep the prayers coming as well as comments, they are working!

Christie - I was running behind in the news of your hospitalization & surgery. But, having caught up on the SOC '66 guestbook comments & now the blog, I'm very encouraged by your progress. I sure hope that trend continues & you can rest assured that your SOC family, including Kathy & I, are praying hard for your full recovery. It may be a stretch, but we certainly hope to see you at the mini on 6-7-8, if possible. If not, we'll toast to your health & continue the prayers. Momma C~ It was nice talking to you last night and I am so happy you are doing well. I miss you tons and cannot wait to come visit. As soon as I get word from the family I will be there!
