I just finished freshening mom up, she even put on her own lipstick! PERFECTLY! with no mirror...She knows of her blog and calls it her "blob" she wants to know minute by minute who says what, so keep the comments coming.
With the weekend coming, we are looking forward to seeing mom's siblings who have not been able to come up yet. Having said that, those are going to be the only visitors the Dr. will allow...flu is rampant and mom is easily tired...she has to work twice daily with the rehabilitation specialists and it is quite frustrating for her to do if she is overtired. The well wishes and sweet comments are great therapy and we are so appreciative. We will see you all when we get her out of ICU!
God Bless!
Amy

Hey girl ... Heck, I have trouble putting my lipstick on without a mirror, so you're doing great and better than me!! I'm thrilled to hear you're doing so well. Do what your Dr. and your kids tell you so you can get out of the hospital and then I can come see you!! Love you,

Hello Amy,
Your Mom was a bright light here at FOX4. Because we have the same initials; she and I would call each "CT" in the hallways and share a special smile.
Please tell her that "CT" is sending her Love!

Please know that I am thinking of you and praying for you and the whole family throughout each and every day.

Also, if there is ANYTHING you need me to do - just ask. I am available since I DON'T HAVE A JOB!! :) :) Just thought I should remind you in case it slipped your mind.

Christie,

I am always amazed at ladies that can put lipstick on with no mirror. The only other person I know that can do that went to your high school. Maybe it is an Oak Cliff thing.

I am so glad you are getting stronger every day. Keep up the good work.

Broadway and Taplee don't like me to be on the computer long, they are begging me to throw the ball and give them treats. For those who are reading this and don't know, Broadway is my dog and Taplee is his sister who is visiting this weekend.

Remember, tell your children to let me know if you or any of them need anything. I can't cook, but I know good caterers!

Much love,

Mary Knight
